Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the website bfsg-scan.at, operated by Dipl.-Ing. Christian Franz Werner, BSc.

Accessibility Status

This website is largely conformant with the Accessibility Act (BFSG) and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

We implement the following measures:

• Semantic HTML5 with correct heading hierarchy
• Alt texts for all functional images
• Keyboard accessibility for all interactive elements
• Colour contrast ratios of at least 4.5:1 (text)
• ARIA attributes for interactive UI components
• Language declaration (lang attribute) in HTML
• Skip links for screen readers
• Responsive design for all viewport sizes

Known Limitations

• Scan results: Dynamically generated scan results may be difficult to navigate for screen readers. We are working on an improved structure.
• Mobile navigation: The mobile menu is not yet fully accessible via screen reader. Improvement planned for Q1 2026.
